About Us

As an impact investment fund, our overall goal is to generate both sustainable social impact and financial returns.

Established in 2019, Impact Ventures by Johnson & Johnson Foundation invests directly in impact-focused healthcare companies through debt and equity structures, as well as through other impact funds. Although we typically invest at an early stage before companies are profitable, our aim is to help them scale and become sustainable. When a portfolio company has a successful exit, financial returns go back to Johnson & Johnson Foundation and are recycled into new investments for ongoing impact.

More than capital

In addition to our financial investments, we actively support our portfolio companies with technical assistance and resources by leveraging Johnson & Johnson’s extensive network and healthcare industry expertise. We offer a range of different pro bono services, including employee engagements through J&J’s Talent for Good program.
