Pioneering a transformative model for emerging markets’ healthcare access, reach52 is a social impact business that leverages technology, local health networks, supply chain and public health strategies to deliver health in rural and hard-to-reach areas. reach52 is bridging the gap where traditional healthcare systems often fall short.

“One of the biggest challenges the world faces is the increasing global population combined with growing burden of disease—together outpacing the ability of traditional healthcare infrastructure and service delivery models to address, especially given chronic lack of funding. reach52 has developed an innovative, community-driven model to bring essential health products and services to the 52% of the world who remain unreached,” said Edward Booty, CEO & Founder of reach52.

Community members, including doctors, nurses, community health workers (CHWs) and trusted local leaders, are trained as Health Educators to deliver health interventions, such as health education screening events, enabling these communities to bolster their healthcare systems from within.

The company also fills critical supply gaps in essential medicines and healthcare products. By analyzing on-the-ground data and aligning with public health insights, reach52 manages sustainable distribution systems to provide affordable and high-quality medical products.

Through education, screenings and strategic marketing efforts, reach52 helps more populations navigate their health journeys—from raising awareness to connecting individuals with the medicines and treatments they need. They also unlock critical funding from the private sector.

“By combining technology with grassroots initiatives, reach52 is enabling access to healthcare and creating change for communities that need it most,” said Dana Deardorff, Global Director at Impact Ventures. “We’re excited about our investment in this team’s work, driven by their commitment to expand essential health services using scalable, data-driven solutions."
